Volunteer
“The heart of a volunteer is not measured in size, but by the depth of the commitment to make a difference in the lives of others.” ~ DeAnn Hollis
Volunteers are one of the most important resources within the Alliance Area Domestic Violence Shelter. You can help make a difference in the community by volunteering your time and talents to support our efforts to reduce and prevent domestic violence. A few of the volunteer opportunities include:
- Becoming a member of the Board of Trustees
- Organizing fundraisers or donation drives to benefit the Shelter
- Volunteering on site: by providing childcare, sorting donations, helping with shelter maintenance/cleaning or office assistance.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact us.
